How are things going?

How are things going with the new episode?

I got around to downloading 'Snatcher' off the Home of the Underdogs and it (for obvious reasons) reminded me of Mr. Spade. Would you ever consider voice acting? I guess it'd be kinda cheesy unless it was done properly, the slightly digitised speech they have in Snatcher seems to work quite well.

Either way, just a post to see what's up and you know I'm always here as a willing playtester :)

A few of the Fedora games had some voice acting "sound effects" for particular parts. Voice acting the entire game would probably kill our bandwidth though, because games with voice acting can be hundreds of MB's big. You'd have to ask Orchard for specifications, but I do know that Fedora ep4 will have some more voice acting sound effects, more than ep3 did probably; my cousin Carrie played Dagny.

Sorry for the late reply, I just recently got back from Jakarta and didn't notice that there's a new thread. This place's usually pretty quiet, so... :) As for voice acting, yeah, size is a factor, but the real issue here is GM's memory management. Some people are having game-breaking slowdowns even though the fedora games don't even use that much data. I can't even imagine how the game would run with 100mbish worth of audio files. Other than that, I'm still working (sluggishly) on Fedora 4. Work's been pretty tough lately, and scheduling between rest and the project isn't easy.
