Windows XP compatable?

I installed the game on my computer (runs on XP), but the game doesn't run. The screen just turns black. It doesn't freeze, it just doesn't do anything.
I heard that it's because the game runs in DOS, but I can run the OHRRPGCE editor and game player fine.
Is there a way I can download Sword of Jade as a file that OHRRPGCE game player can run?

It does work for me in XP and Vista, but the Ohrrpgce is finicky and doesn't work on all computers, it's fairly random since it's such an old program.

One thing you can try is to download the file, take the .rpg file, and use it with the newest Ohrrpgce game.exe player, available here: http://hamsterrepublic.com/ohrrpgce/index.php/Main_Page.html

Another possibility is to try to run the game with the .exe that is included in DosBox (which is a DOS emulator).
