In need of playtester
« on: April 26, 2007, 08:26:58 AM »
Sorry for the lack for updates, I've been busy managing the textile store as well as working on episode 2 on my spare time.

The good news is that episode 2 is done and I already sent it to my friend for proofreading. I don't know how long it'll take him to do it, but it'll probably be quite a while.

Episode 1 on the other hand, has been done for quite a while and has been proofreaded. All I need right now is a couple of playtesters to give it a second playthrough.

Just to let you know though, this is just an introductory episode (much like chapter 1 of Phoenix Wright). It's really short compared to the second episode. It's probably only around 15minutes to 30minutes long. It's only meant to get you to know the main characters as well as giving you as taste of the tomato engine. The game has a phone engine very similar to the one in Portopia Murder Case (NES game, translated,) but you don't really get to use it in this episode.

Edit: please include an e-mail address if you're interested.

I'll appreciate any help, thanks.
Orchard,

Hey there,
Just finished the episodes and was pretty impressed with the arrangement.
I did notice quite a few little errors in spelling and phrasing thoughout so if you need a spelling/grammar nazi to look over your work, my cards are on the table.

(and if you didn't get that, th'email is jimbobriley (at) gmail.com ;) )

Yes, I could use a grammar nazi on board for future episodes :) It's still going to be a while before I finish episode 3 though. I'll e-mail you once the game's done.

EDIT: Also, feel free to list all the spelling/grammar errors that you caught. e-mail's at orchard.l[at]gmail.com

Hi, I just added 3 RPGCreations games to http://www.mobygames.com/ (Missing and the two Fedora Spades) to promote them some more and to make them part of videogames' history. I'm very impressed with the team's work, these are solid, high-quality productions. If you need an additional playtester/proofreader for upcoming episodes, feel free to contact me.

Alright, I'll be sure to contact you once episode 3 is done. I actually noticed that the fedora games are on mobygames earlier today. I was wondering who added them to the database. Now I know. :)

I got to know them through the Independent Gaming blog. The credits are still pending, as well as the game groups, but those will be approved soon.
