Today I just happened to read Nifflas's forums (which I don't do nearly as often as I should) and came across a thread talking about his next game, a game called Night Game, which looks amazing. I like the style and coloration.
For those of you who don't know him, he made Knytt Stories and many other great games. You can see his website here.
A lot of people didn't like Knytt or his other games; I think they're games you either love or hate, since they aren't so much about gameplay and doing stuff as they are about the sensory experience, the feeling of playing the game. Some people don't lose themselves in games and enjoy them just for the immersion, others do.
I don't mind people who don't like Knytt, but what bothers me is when people put it down for liking it, or say it's a bad game, which is weird because: look how active that forum is. Look at all the positive response it's gotten from people. Would all those people be lying about enjoying that game? It's probably just different tastes in games, I wish I saw someone say, for once, "I don't like Knytt but I respect it", instead of either "I love Knytt" or "I hate Knytt".
